Ureaform is a slow release fertilizer produced from a mixture of Urea, Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate, Sodium Hydroxide and Water. The reaction is initiated by use of an Acid. Ureaform is actually a mixture of Urea oligomers of various molecular masses, polymer chain lengths, and hence varying water solubility, such as Methylene Diurea (MDU) and Dimethylene Triurea (DMTU) etc.
